Ercol armchair & matching footstool

The chair has undergone a full refurbishment. The beech frame has been sanded back to its original state. All the factory lacquer and any blemishes removed. The wood has received 2 coats of osmo polyx wax oil, providing a hard wearing protective seal. The polyx  also highlights the grain beautifully.

The webbing has been replaced using the original Ercol method of pirrelli rubber & wooden dowels, providing a firm but excellent sprung base.

Finally the foams have been replaced with fire retardant firm 5" base & 4" back - professionally Upholstered in a John Lewis - "Matilda Graphite" fabric - which perfectly compliments the wooden frame.

This is an originally used item, therefore may have signs of wear & tear. Although every effort has been made throughout the refurbishment to make good.

***Please note the foam is brand new, therefore very firm, but this will soften in time***
